Productivity Dips And Improving Efficiency

Productivity And Efficiency Require Different Energy Systems

Productivity isn't an infinite process.  Business productivity isn't set to the hours of work, it isn't a 9 to 5 position.

There are varying levels of productivity, just like you have varying levels of energy.

If today is one of low-levels, you know that the tanks need to be refueled, the storage tanks are drained.

The ship left port, the oil is running low and engines are at half-steam.

In other words, it's a day of floating along.

But that doesn't mean that nothing is going to get done.

If you need to speed up your process, or refuel your energy, there's great news.

Sometimes the best way to recharge our energy is to call it a day, move on, and get some rest.   Other times its best to change tactics or outlook.

Another way is to improve on the systems and ways you accomplish tasks, in other words, improving the tools and technologies that assist you.

If you need to improve your productivity and increase your efficiency, getting a tool for your business is critical.

Right now Sprint is offering a deal that is an 11 on a scale of 1-10.  It's got the WOW factor that not only catches your attention, it also recharges you and gets you motivated.

The Genius Of Samsung Copying The iPhone Design

Genius Is As Genius Does

Have you ever seen a new car and wondered, "Gee, I've seen that model before".  Maybe its the shape of the sedan, or the aerodynamic lines.

Often when someone creates something outstanding, it fosters a sense of jealousy and others try to copy it to achieve the same success.

Other times, copying a master can seem cheap at worst and really smart at best.

There are two types of genius.

The first is to be truly innovative and original.  The other is to master what has already been created. Neither types can truly exist in a vacuum of one another, so in essence, genius borrows from one and makes it wholly their own - or makes it so superior that people forget the original.

The Samsung Galaxy S6: A Copy Of The Best Smartphone For Business

On April 10, 2015 Samsung will release their innovative Galaxy S6.  As the newest upgrade of the flagship Galaxy line, the Galaxy S6 mirrors one of the best smartphones released, the iconic iPhone 6.    In previous reviews, the iPhone 6 has been named the best smartphone for business productivity and by copying it, Samsung is hoping to overtake the master.

And imitation really is the truest form of flattery, and with the Galaxy S6, Samsung has taken the imitation game to a whole new level.

With impervious Gorilla Glass and a smooth metallic body, the Galaxy S6 so much resembles the iPhone 6 that it even has ports and speaker holes in the same exact place as the iPhone 6.  Also a screen size of 5.1" inches, the Galaxy S6 physically resembles their competitor's phone.

But the appearance is really the only comparison.  (You can read a more complete review HERE)

With the Galaxy S6, Samsung has improved on all the interior hardware and operating system.  The Android 5.0 Lollipop, pared with the 64-bit Octa-Core processor, this may be the fastest smartphone out there.

Here's How The Band Devo Can Help Improve Your Business Productivity

How Devo Can Improve Your Business Productivity With Apple's iPhone: The Best Smartphone For Business

Anyone remember the band Devo?  Led by the incredibly talented Mark Mothersbaugh, Devo fused art with their pop melodies to satirize consumerism of the early, mid and late 80's.

The song they were best known for was "Whip It" and the video for the song revealed the band to be uniformly dressed with yellow jump suits and red, collapsible helmets.  It got them band from MTV, which at the time, was a death sentence for pop radio.

Because of that decision, their most important song was never heard on the radio, or seen on MTV. It had the effect of black-balling the band, who after two more albums disbanded. They then created a movie soundtrack company and have done quite well.

But their most important song was "Freedom of Choice." In it, Devo rails against the greed and consumerism in a way that, inadvertently, also explains how to be increase productivity for your business.

The song reflects on Aesop's fable about "the dog and his reflection".  In it, there's a dog with a bone in his mouth walking over a bridge.  The dog see's his reflection in the water, and thinking it another dog with a bone in its mouth, drops his bone to reach for the others. In doing, he drops his bone in the water and loses it.

The song twists the plot to make it a little more melodic. "In ancient Rome, there was a poem, about a dog wit two bones, he licked the one, he licked the other, he turned in circles 'til he dropped dead."

So how does that apply to your business productivity?

The chorus of the song is "Freedom of choice is what you got, freedom from choice is what you want."  And that's true of employees, clients and customers.

Your employees and clients want you to help decide for them.

They want freedom from choice.

How Freedom From Choice Helps Productivity

They like the illusion of free choice, but that process creates doubt and instills fear.  Doubt and fear stall productivity and the end result is that it makes things less efficient.

Power Of Persuasion And Selling Top Smartphones With Sprint

What is powerful is the most persuasive element in the world? Not force, not encouragement, but showing the individual or group what is in it for them.

And when you're trying to sell something, you need to consider that fact.  You can tell people all they need to know about a phone, for example, and still not make a sale.

Shop Sprint Phones and Plans Now!

Persuasion is demonstrating that you have the best interest of the person, or persons, you're trying to make act.

Think about it for a moment.  The most important advertisements have testimonials illustrating how the individual is benefiting from their new purchase.  Their lives are better, they're happier and shown to be enjoying even the average, humdrum everyday things.

Championship teams buy into what the coach is trying to teach them, not by fear but by the team being able to understand what is in it for them.

We go to the doctor because we know it's important. We all know that as a profession, being doctor is stressful and financially rewarded.  So why do we go to them? Because of what's in it for us.

Buying a luxury item like a new car or phone is no different.  Answer what's in it for the buyer and you should see your power of persuasion increase.
