Top Smartphones For 2015

The Top Smartphones For 2015

Top Smartphones For 2015
Latest Smartphone News

Sometimes rumors can be powerful.  Other times they can be damaging.  The key is to know what type of rumors are worth your time and those that are not worthy.

A rumor about someone else is typically spiteful, hurtful and don't do much to help the individual.

But a rumor that is about a service or thing, especially about improvements and upgrades, can be a good thing.

The Apple vs Android Battle Is About To Heat Up

For example, Apple is rumored to be about to release a new iPhone.  That much is probably true.  And the rumor about it being a major upgrade like an iPhone 7, is generally positive.  It doesn't hurt the company or their fans, if the rumor proves to be false.

So what does that mean for you, the consumer, looking to get a new iPhone?

It means that you will have some outstanding new technology available soon.  Some of the reviews about the upgrades claim that the camera will have some major improvements, as well as a new iOS.  Another key feature that keeps coming up is that Apple may be getting rid of the Home button and they would use some integration technology for the fingerprint touch and interactive screen to replace the home button.

Another example of technology rumors that are harmless is the rumor that Samsung will be releasing updates on the Galaxy S and Note series.  You can read those details here: The Top Smartphones For 2015

Why do these rumors matter while others don't?

Because they help create a buzz about the brands, they pique consumer interest and generate momentum for their eventual releases.

Is The iPhone 7 Almost Here?

When does it make sense to believe rumors?  We all know that rumors are interesting, enticing and most of all, dangerous.

Why are they dangerous?

For one, they're easy to spread.  Like a virus that's spread by air, it can move from one host to another easily.

Another reason they can be dangerous is that they don't have any accountability. A person can spread a rumor and defer upward or laterally to another person that they heard it from.

They can make the claim that they "heard it" from someone else.  The ubiquitous some one else.

Another reason that rumors are dangerous is that they can heighten expectations beyond reality. And heightened expectations can hurt everyone.

From the person who now has the burden of expectations, to the purpose projecting those expectations to eventually be let down, they end up damaging both parties.

Sometimes however, rumors can be harmless and interesting.

Take for instance, the rumor that Apple will be releasing a new iPhone soon.  Whether it's called the iPhone 6s or iPhone 7 is to be seen, but what we do know is that it will released sometime in the fall of 2015.

Reported by MacWorld UK and others, the rumor is building momentum that Apple is about to do something interesting.  What exactly is still to be seen, but something is coming, that much is certain.

You check out the MacWorld report at the blog 10 Best Smartphones, just click here.

This is one time where rumors are harmless, unless your Apple's competitors.

The Best Smartphone 2015 - Is Popularity Objective And Fixed, or Subjective?

The Award For Best Smartphone 2015

What makes something popular?

Is it the look or the design?  The Apple iPhone 6 is one great smartphone built on superior design and quality.

But to define what is popular we need to understand what is the foundation of popularity.

Is there something timeless, or does popularity, like attractiveness, fade with the times?

Is popularity fixed, or is it something that evolves over time?

Attractiveness, functionality, charisma - these are traits to describe what's popular - but doesn't define popularity.

One way to determine popularity is to take a stand and watch with fascination the conversations that take place.

The Top Smartphone Is The iPhone 6 But Does It Win For Best Smartphone 2015?

Sometimes the greatest thing we can do is to award a winner.

It makes it decisive, and makes it interesting.

Rare is the winner without subjectivity.  While the final outcome, the final game, set, match may be undisputed, the process to get there is open to interpretation.

That's the power of comparison.

It's the "what-if" that exists in all of us.

It's what makes the outcomes of sports so interesting - "what-if" team "A" played against team "D".  Then perhaps they may, or may not, have become champions.

It's the subjectivity that makes the "what-if" fun.  And the comparison function of our personalities is also what makes things popular.

There's a new post at 10 Best Smartphones that takes a stand and declares the best smartphone for 2015 in APRIL

It's a battle between the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6. And it's subjective.

You can read it here

What do you think?

Does popularity come from something obvious, or is it subjective?

Put Your Self On "Auto-Pilot" With The Best Smartphone For Business

Is Your Phone Helping You Go "Auto"?

Here's a little story about how cars are becoming driverless and automatic, how it parallels the improvements with the best smartphone for business, and how they will increase your productivity.

Is your business on cruise control?

Can you afford for it to be?

There was a TV news report recently about cars and their innovations that have moved far beyond just the cruise control features.  This was first installed in the long extinct US automobile company AMC, who installed the feature in their cars in the '60's.

Fast forward to now and Tesla has created, and is testing a self-driving car.  They claim that it will be a software update on their Tesla S models and will allow one that works on "auto-pilot" much like the cruise control feature.  It will sense and read traffic signs, other cars, curves in the road and other features.

Obviously this opens up a whole slew of questions.  Questions about safety, cost, legality, desirability and others.

So how does this apply to you and your business?

If you were able to put your business on auto-pilot, would you?  And would that be a good thing?

The ability to gain efficiency and lose distractions, to gain productivity and lose resistance is the same as putting your self on auto-pilot.  And the key to being able to do that is improved technology.  Which is why you need to know the best smartphone for business.  By knowing what is the best phone for your business needs, you'll improve your efficiency and productivity.

Apple makes the best smartphone for business, and you can see why here:  Apple makes the best smartphone for business today.

Why The Bottom Line Guarantees A Race To The Bottom

Why The Bottom Line Dominates The Discussion, And Why That Equals A Race To The Bottom

In every boardroom and within every negotiation, especially one that has the data from an analysis behind it, will include the idea of the “bottom line."  Industries like electronics, automotive and restaurants all like to consider the bottom line.

Even the cell phone industry is focused on the bottom line, and it may hamper you in your search for ranking the best smartphone for business or work.

Like most companies, they believe that by cutting expenses they’re expanding their margins.

But what if the idea of lowering expenses was the equivalent of lowering the floor of your house to say that you’re house is getting taller?

Is it a matter of perception leading to reality?

Sure, trimming the fat from expenses is important.  But when it becomes a mantra for your industry, you’re racing with the others to the bottom.

Lower quality, higher prices, and lower customer confidence in you and your product is the result.  You end up losing more customers, fewer clients, and lower sales in the long run.

Instead perhaps, focus on leading your clients from the front to build a product, a brand, that is one that people will clamor for, and finding a best smartphone for business is no different.

It’s the build a better mousetrap idea.

And Apple is the absolute king of the castle with that concept.

Why Apple Ranks As Best Smartphone For Business With Their iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

As a company, Apple has always focused on building great devices that have outstanding user experience.  They focuses on building a better mousetrap knowing that people will come running to their door as a result.

Sure they’re focused on their margins and keeping expenditures low.  But they don’t sacrifice quality, and by default brand loyalty, to the altar of the bottom line.

While others like Samsung, HTC and more have focused on challenging Apple’s market dominance, they’ve focused on their bottom lines in deciding what to offer and manufacture.  Apple focuses on the brand and the quality they know their fans expect.  That’s one major reason they dominate the marketplace and have a valuation bordering close to the $1 Trillion mark.

By focusing on the bottom line, you’re guaranteeing a race to the bottom.  When lowering costs is your priority, you’re focus is cutting back, being conservative in your thinking.

But the growth of your business and your brand requires forward thinking and proactive design.

As the best smartphone for business, the iPhone 6 is the perfect symbol of how Apple takes a forward thinking approach.  The proof is in their brand loyalty and company valuation versus their competitors.

How Getting Informed Will Help You Save

Knowledge Is Power

Any time we have some important decisions to make, there are two ways we act.  The first is to make an immediate, intuitive decision, but sometimes these can be rash and even dangerous.

Think about the concept of fight or flight.

If someone is threatening you with a weapon, and they’re willing to let you leave unharmed, acting in rage and attacking them would be foolhardy and dangerous.

The other type of decision making tactic is to be the one “armed”, but armed with information and the analysis of that information.  It’s a process of preparation, of “mental imagery” or visualizing the desired outcome based upon the facts at hand. World class athletes use this tactic.  Based upon years of training and physical preparation, as well as multiple competitions, they have a very good idea of their desired outcomes and create a mental image of what that would be like to experience.

The next step they take is to think about that mental image and work it backward to where they are at currently to give them a plan of how to achieve their successes.
